this ODI against India March 22, 1985. But for the daring fast bowler of
Pakistani cricket team it went all in vain. Imran Khan ripped apart the batting

India’s most celebrated batsman and a century from him,
Sachin Tendulkar, was generally the recipe for success in the 1990s and 2000s
but not in the 1999 Test match against Pakistan in Chennai. Chasing 271 runs by
Pakistan for victory, Tendulkar scored a tremendous 136 runs. But Pakistani

Tendulkar was broken-hearted.
Final, ICC World Twenty20 at Johannesburg
An India-Pakistan final in the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup
in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2007 was an ideal setting for cricket’s newest
format. Misbah ul Haq of Pakistani team was on the verge of taking his team to
an outstanding win with his batting in a chase of 158.
But then came a moment of folly as Haq tried to play a daring
shot to seal victory against Indian pacer Joginder Sharma in the final over.
The ball went high into the waiting hands of Sreesanth. Indian team led by MS
Dhoni celebrated as Haq missed the chance of a lifetime.
